The incident occurred on April 11, when Border Patrol agents observed four pickup trucks inside a ranch just north of Oilton.
Agents monitored the area before approaching the vehicles and apprehending 40 illegal aliens. The agents tracked and apprehended 17 more illegal aliens hiding in the brush.
Keep in mind that all 57 illegal aliens were attempting to evade apprehension. These apprehensions are different when compared to Family Units and Unaccompanied Alien Children abusing the asylum process.
The illegal aliens’ nationalities were the following:
30 from Guatemala,
19 from Mexico,
6 from Honduras
2 from Nicaragua.
